Services Marketing in Tourism and Hospitality in Danang City: Long - term strategy should be planned
March 14, 2013, Dong A University held the seminar “Services marketing in tourism and hospitality in the development context of Danang City”, which was presented by Mr. Guillaume Van Grinsven from the non-profit organization of PUM, the Netherland.
The presentation attracted great attention of the participants who are both Dong A lecturers and students.
Two messages were sent to the listeners. The first is Thinking out of the box. It is important to realize the role of creation and innovation to keep pace with the growing tourism and to meet the demand for the industry quality. The second is a Strategy to Danang branding. The subject is convincingly introduced via a variety of real stories, cases and practices of city branding from well-known cities all over the world such as New York, Amsterdam, Bilbao etc.
“City branding requires a long term strategy and a process. An appropriate strategy is needed to develop Danang into a successful brand. Each of you has a responsibility to actively engage in the strategy implementation.” said the speaker.
