She shared, “When I heard Nguyet and her teammates Trang and Xuan Ni won first place in the World Korean Speech Contest, I felt proud and overwhelmed with happiness. Although I don’t understand Korean, I watched the competition on YouTube, and seeing them share so charmingly and confidently made me very happy. Throughout the preparation for the competition and the trip to Laos, the dedication of the guiding teachers helped my daughter and her friends surpass their limits, learn, and have the opportunity to participate in such a meaningful international competition, living fully with their love for the Korean language.”
The ceremony also honored and awarded students who achieved awards in regional and other level competitions.
As part of the program, there was also a student forum for dialogue. Here, award-winning students shared their journey, experiences, and insights throughout the competition process with fellow students from various departments. Inspired by their achievements, many engaging questions and “collaboration invitations” for future academic endeavors were enthusiastically exchanged among students during this forum.
At the ceremony, the university also recognized and rewarded the guiding faculty and department heads who supported and accompanied the students throughout the competitions.
