The second graduation ceremony of 2024 at Dong A University was conducted in three formal sessions, honoring and awarding degrees to 1,319 new engineers and graduates across 10 undergraduate programs in the fields of Engineering, Language, and Health.

The 2024 Graduation Ceremony at Dong A University was attended by representatives from partner enterprises both domestically and internationally, along with a large number of parents of graduates from the Central Highlands and Central regions.
During this graduation ceremony, the Language Department celebrated its first graduating class of 90 Bachelor's degree recipients in Japanese and Korean languages. Additionally, over 80% of the Japanese language students from this cohort are currently participating in internships and working or studying under valuable exchange scholarships in Japan, which prevented them from attending this graduation session.

In addition, the survey results prior to the 2024 Graduation Ceremony indicated that the Language Department recorded the highest employment rate among all fields for graduates in 2024. Specifically, the employment rate for English language students reached over 70%, for Chinese language students it was 89.3%, and for Korean language students, this figure rose to 91.7%. Overall, more than 70% of students from the 2020-2024 cohort had secured employment before graduation.

At the ceremony, a representative from Luxshare ICT Nghe An also presented a commemorative plaque to the leadership of Dong A University. Luxshare ICT Nghe An, a subsidiary of Luxshare ICT Precision Group—ranked among the top 500 technology companies worldwide and operating in the electronic components manufacturing sector—has officially hired 67 students from the 2020-2024 cohort of Dong A University. Among them, five outstanding students have been nominated to participate in advanced training at the headquarters in China. Additionally, Luxshare ICT Nghe An has received over 80 students from various programs at Dong A University for internships.
On the same afternoon, Luxshare ICT Nghe An conducted another round of interviews for students from Dong A University applying for official positions and internships. This was the second recruitment event held at Dong A University since the signing of the cooperation agreement between Dong A University and Luxshare ICT Nghe An in December of the previous year.

Along with 23 students recognized for their outstanding achievements and the top graduates in their fields, 28 students from this cohort—who made significant contributions to community responsibility activities—were also honored. These activities included a series of programs promoting cultural values of community responsibility among the university’s student generations, such as voluntary blood donation events, a living blood bank with hundreds of platelet units donated directly, volunteer support for healthcare at field hospitals in Bac Giang Province, and the SOS team, which provided free repairs for over 3,000 motorbikes to assist locals returning home during the pandemic at Hai Van Pass, as well as helping residents repair bikes after flooding in Da Nang.
Just before the graduation ceremony, the Youth Union of Dong A University was honored as the only university-level organization to receive a certificate of merit from the Chairman of Da Nang City for outstanding achievements in promoting voluntary blood donation in 2023. This was the third certificate awarded by the city to the university’s youth union for its blood donation activities, making Dong A University the first in the university sector to receive three certificates from the city for community service efforts.
Previously, on June 8-9, Dong A University held its first graduation ceremony of 2024, awarding degrees to 1,250 new engineers and graduates across 20 undergraduate programs.
