On the afternoon of 10th July, 2014, Mr Chong Chuwee Oh – General management of Sandy Beach Resort has awarded Internship Certifications for more than 20 Dong A University Student.
During in Internship Ceremony at Sandy Beach Resort, Mr Chong has shared a lot experience about working and management experience in resorts. Those skills have collected in working years at manager position of resorts in many different countries. He also extol internship students’ morale and emphasized that after new Sandy Beach Resort be run, he will give the opportunities for Dong A University who practiced in there.
Ms Huynh Thi Hong Nhung – HR manager of Sandy Beach Resort is also good assessment about Dong A students’ period of internship time. She said: "Currently, our resort is implementing a new project to broader scale. The Students who participated in this practice session will be recruiting priority if you wish to work with us".
After 3 months, Le Thi Dong Ha - 11TLKS1A grade student said that this Internship give her many experience and opportunities from actual. The job is quite similar with training program in UDA but sometime has incurred situation and internship time help her make more skills to handle unexpected situations.
Hua Cong Hanh – 11TLKS1A grade student said, only 3 months but feel like more than 1 year. The first time, everything is new, so strange and has to ask manager, after that when everything becomes similar, can do, handle and mature because they practiced many time, curriculum similar with reality so they don’t so difficult to work in this big resort. There are many Dong A university former students, who are very friendly and support for them so much. He is fully satisfied about this session.
From change training model “University – Students – Enterprises”, every course is a semester in enterprise. That time make student feel more confident when participate into the labor market. Furthermore, this training method is very suitable with social development trend. Dong A students have received enterprises’ trust, and recruit as soon as internship completing. According to Enterprises’ general perceptions, they can reduce time and cost training for new staffs. Internship period is regarded as probation period that help them to assess student skills and ability to respond job. Therefore, Training method “studying like working” is creating good signals, make student easy to get job as soon as graduate.
