This graduation season, 627 new engineers and bachelors are recognized and received the graduated certificate from school. The labor markets are added a brand new resource from the Dong A study.

For years, the UDA are considered as "incubators" are taking good care for their student output. According to normal practice, the graduated school day, students come to receive the certificate, the schools organize the ceremony to giving the certificate, and the school leaders visited and awarded to each student, that's it.

But at the UDA, every year, when students graduated and searching for needs, connect with enterprise human resources is part of the job of staffs and department of UDA. The graduated date is also the time for businesses to get ready sharing with the University in the "output" recruitment field. All work will be taking good care from both sides. The school organized and provide guidance documents and interviewing skills, so that the students can avoid small mistakes and miss the suitable opportunity. The enterprise then check the demand for human resources, personnel assigned to the correct date and time on campus to select suitable candidates. For students, it is likely just the first trial with the stricter as well as higher and higher requirements of the labor market, all of them may not succeed immediately. Do not have a job, is not synonymous with unemployment and give up. This major failure will help them feel confidence and bravery, to narrow the defects and better seize the opportunity next time.

It can be seen very clearly, the organization of the annual job fair at the UDA has brought many opportunities for both students and businesses; minimize distractions between employee and employer. The school has made efforts to ensure that every student has the opportunity to choose the most suitable jobs as well as businesses to looking for and fill up their need instantly.

At Graduation Ceremony and Annual Job Fair 2014 will be held from 5th to 8th August; until 31st July, UDA has received 508 requests for vacancy of big and medium enterprise in Da Nang. Thus, in the tough time of economic, enterprises operating in Da Nang still need large amounts of labor, especially quality labor. Recruitment needs that sent to the UDA accounted up to 81% of the total number of graduates in this period.

Even at the stage to help students understand the skill and requirement of the employer, such as style, interview attitude; even a small imperfections, but should be avoided in order not to lose the opportunity, disapponting the expectations of the employer; the school was concerned funding organizations refresher course "Interview skills and job seeking" (in 1 day for all graduating students). So that in 2013, only the first morning, there were 545 documents of students were accepted by enterprise after the first round of interview (over 66%). In 2012, the most difficult year due to the economic crisis, but still have 67% of students are hired immediately after graduation and over 80% of students have a suitable job after 6 months.

But more importantly from 2013, the school has a strong focus on training program towards improving practice, to meet the needs of businesses. In this direction, during the course, students have two semesters doing internship at enterprises. As an trainee, first term in the 5th semester, students are guided to do the basic job tasks, observe the operation of their careers at firms that student will respond in the future. Next term in the 7th semester, companies will help student by arranging in a more difficult stage at work and related to their future job. In this semester, student had the work experience from last time should do better as well as show companies the requirement skill to meet the enterprise needed.

As a result, many students of economic sectors such as tourism and businesses have been offered as soon as the completion of the internship while waiting for the graduation certificates.

That is the reason why, two weeks ago, 16 students in Electrical Engineering Corporation has been choosen by Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation Searee during protection of graduation thesis. Currently, students are working and will be back to school on 6th-7th August to attend the graduation ceremony.

All majors at the UDA, students are taking care  and from 2013, the student will participate in the new training program that follow the practical way as mention above.
