On December 6, Dong A University together with the Center for International Economic Research and Development (IEDRC, based in Hong Kong) co-organized a series of international scientific seminars entitled "Society and Humanities. This is the second series of international seminars co-organized by Dong A University and IEDRC in 2018 after the first series of international scientific conferences on "E-business and application", 2018 (hereinafter referred to as ICEBA 2018) and the 7th "Management and Marketing Economics" in 2018 (CEBMM 2018 for short) took place in February also at Dong A University..

The two seminars were divided into two sessions with 13 thematic presentations presented by 16 international experts from 9 countries including: United States, Japan, Taiwan, China, South Africa, Turkey , Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines and many researchers of institutes, universities, and specialized departments of Social and Humanities, History and Culture in Vietnam.

Participating in the topic "Society and Humanities", the essay "Investigative Press: Penetration to Expose the Story" by GS. Gary E. Swanson - a world-renowned photo journalist, documentary and news producer with more than 76 awards for outstanding TV shows and newspapers received much attention. He shared about the press investigating and fighting to keep the principle of honesty through "news stories" in which journalists face the problem of journalistic ethics and the fulfillment of the press obligation on truth.

Stemming from research on the components of the environment organized in secondary schools in Taiwan, GS. Previously, the information technology delegation of Chiba Province (Japan) and the German enterprise delegation also conducted similar cooperation steps.
