Collaboration to create career value chain for Dong A students

On the 1st of July, at the Vietnam Investment Promotion Conference in Tokyo, Japan, Dong A University officially achieved the complete collaboration with Cookbiz and other local food service companies that creates the value chain for students under the witness of the Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc - the Prime Minister and high - class delegates from Vietnam.

Mr. Luong Minh Sam - the Vice Rector of Dong A University, Mr. Kenji Yabuno - Cookbiz Group chairman and Japanese food service companies signed a cooperation agreement.

The MOA between Dong A University and Cookbiz - a group operating in a restaurant chain in Japan is among 33 bilateral MOAs signed at the conference.

According to the agreement, the career value chain created for students majoring Tourism and Food Technology of Dong A University is carried out with Japanese standards from the facilities, curriculum advancement to internship programs for third - year students and working opportunities at Japanese food companies after graduation. In addition, thanks to scholarship, support regarding to accommodation, living expenses and language programs, students will find it easier to integrate and develop.

“Not only does this collaboration help create more job opportunities for students but also make a big contribution to developing human resource in the Central Region within from 5 to 10 years.” Mr. Luong Minh Sam - the Vice Rector of Dong A University said.

This is also a base to ensuring the quality of human resources that participate in the Japanese food service industry from 2023 and up to 1000 students will be employed each year.

Mr. Kenji Yabuno - the President of Cookbiz Group said: “There is still a serious lack of human resource for food service industry. Dong A students won’t have any financial burden except for the university’s tuition fee like other students.”

On the 28 th of June, in Shizuoka, Japan, Dong A University and Miyoshikai company also reached the collaboration in terms of employing students to do internship and work in Japan. The collaboration took place in the framework of the conference “Policies for employing human resources - Dong A model” held by the Shizuoka Social Welfare Association.

Until now, Dong A University has also widened the job market for students through collaboration with both domestic enterprise and leading groups ịn Japan such as 7 - Eleven, Zensho, Route - Inn, Dormy - Inn, LEOC, Global IT Design , Kameda, Aoyama Medical, Nozomi, Japan Material Engineering Services, JBMA, Asean Car Business Career - Japan, Eikoh Seisakusho, Care Partner, IFECE, Asrapport, Chiba Association, nursing institutions such as Kousekai, Nanakamado; Kibi International University, Yokohama city, Nagasaki, Beppu, Fukuoka, Empire Inc Holdings Group from Singapore, Leonardis Group, WBS AG, Azurit from Germany and so on.
