On September 21, an exchange session between Mr. Ahn Chi Bok, President of the K-Speech Korean Speech Association in Vietnam, and students from the Korean Language and Culture Department at Dong A University took place in a lively atmosphere, providing much inspiration for learning.
The meeting was intimate and welcomed enthusiastic participation from students across various cohorts, particularly a large turnout from the new K24 students.
During the program, Mr. Ahn Chi Bok shared heartfelt insights through interesting real-life stories from his personal experiences.
As the President of the K-Speech Korean Speech Association in Vietnam, he emphasized the importance of confidence and the development of communication skills, encouraging students to continually strive for self-improvement and personal growth.
Students from the Korean Language and Culture Department are not only familiar competitors in the K-Speech speech competition but also outstanding representatives of Dong A University, consistently bringing home numerous awards. Dong A University students have proven their capabilities through their participation in the K-Speech competition. Notably, this year, students from the department excelled, receiving high honors from the K-Speech Association, and seizing the opportunity to represent Vietnam in competition with other countries at the World Speech Contest. In this international arena, students from the Korean Language and Culture Department at Dong A University became champions in the group category.
On this occasion, the department also held a ceremony to honor students who achieved outstanding academic and training results during the 2023-2024 academic year.
The international exchange program at the start of the academic year not only provides new students with effective study orientations and plans but also motivates all students to continue pursuing their passions and enhancing their language skills. Through this event, it is hoped that Dong A University students will find inspiration to strive, continuously develop themselves, and confidently shine in their journeys.
