In the framework of a visit and working session at Dong A University, on October 31, 2023, a representative of Cyber University of Foreign Languages, Korea held a sharing session on the topic of "Methods for Conquering the TOPIK Exam" for students of Dong A University.
As part of a collaboration agreement signed on February 17, 2022, Dong A University and Cyber University of Foreign Languages, Korea have organized several education and culture exchange activities.
After the Korean language and culture program was successfully held in January 2023, this project continued to organize a beneficial seminar on "Methods for Conquering the TOPIK Exam" for students.
Professor Roh Chaehwan, a professor of Korean language at Korea Cyber University, visited Dong A University and had insightful sharing with students at Dong A university.
Since 2023, the TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) has added a speaking section to assess the pronunciation, communication skill, and language expression skill of test takers. Through this program, Dong A University students were clearly introduced to the criteria for evaluating speaking skills in this test. In addition, students were also introduced to effective and innovative ways to learn and practice TOPIK. Moreover, students had a chance to share and exchange useful foreign language learning methods with each other.
To help students prepare well for the exam, the presenter also provided helpful advice to avoid mistakes during the exam process.
After listening to Professor Roh Chaehwan's sharing for over an hour, Dong A University students were able to confidently practice and apply the knowledge and skills they have learned in their studies and exams to prepare for the TOPIK exam.
It is commonly known that Dong A University is currently the only examination center in Da Nang City and one of 12 examination centers licensed to organize TOPIK exams in Vietnam since the April 2023 exam.
