Tran Minh Phuong - 4th-year student of the Korean Language & Culture Department has just excelled in winning the First Prize in the Korean Speaking Final for the entire Central region organized by the Consulate General of Korea on the afternoon of October 27. In addition, 3 other contestants from Dong A University also convincingly won 1 Second prize and 2 Third prizes.
Participating in the Final of the Korean Speaking Contest in the Central Region, Dong A University competed in both level groups: beginner & intermediate, and advanced. With the theme "Dreams and Charm of Korean", each contestant can only present their content for 3 minutes, then will receive 1 question from the judges.
In the intermediate and advanced groups (for those who have studied Korean for more than 2 years), Tran Minh Phuong - a 4th-year student of the Department of Korean Language & Culture, at Dong A University, made a strong impression on the judges. With the topic of "dialect", Minh Phuong's competition excellently won the contest's first prize. In addition, Ngo Thi Anh Nhung - a 3rd-year student also took home the third prize overall.

These are all students who have been highly appreciated by the Korean Language & Culture Department for their hard work since entering school. Among them is Minh Phuong - a senior student with many outstanding achievements such as: achieving TOPIK level 5 at the end of year 2, who used to work at Lotte Duty Free and is currently working at Da Nang International Airport... Besides, Tran Minh Phuong is also a prominent name in the recent exchange program between students of Dong A University & KoreaTech University as a collaborator to support translation.
