Many of students have taken part in this activity for more than twice. Typical case is Truong Thi Song Huong, from being a student of Dong A University until graduation, she has donated blood annually, and that day is her twelfth time of taking part in this meaningful day.

Than Thi Hong Suong – an alumina as soon as hear about the blood donation day held by Dong A University, she stop working one day to participate in. She said that: “when I was a student, I registered to donate blood many times, but I failed to meet the standard. I have just participated recently 2 times. Blood donation is either good for health or brings benefits for community, so that I will continue to participate in another blood donation day held by our university”.

Fresh students K14 was also very attractive to this activity. Many of them were at school quite early to register and patiently wait to noon to donate blood. Mr. Huynh Duc- Deputy Secretary of Communist Youth Union of Dong A University said that “although in this time there are a lot of other activities and competitions being taking place, students of our university still spend time on participating in blood donation day the second time. Beside active participants, alumni and fresh students also register to taking part in enthusiastically”.

In the noon of the same day, 200 units of blood were transferred to Heath Department of Da Nang city. Blood donation has been always concerned by Dong A University. This is also annual activity of university to show the spirit of sharing and responsibility with community of staff, teachers and students of Dong A University.
