The student team from Dong A University won the gold medal in the Japanese Presentation Contest at the 2023 Kanagawa Festival

Overcoming competitors from other universities in the Central region of Vietnam, a group of students from Dong A University's Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture gained the First Prize in the Japanese Presentation Contest with the topic "Our Dream of Connecting Vietnam - Japan.”

As an expected part of the Kanagawa festival in Da Nang 2023, the presentation contest with the topic "Our Dream of Connecting Vietnam - Japan" is the significance of this program. In this competition, a team of five students represented their university by delivering a 5-minute presentation in Japanese.

Participating in the contest, the Dong A University team of students from the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture delivered a coherent, attractive, and convincing Japanese presentation to the judges. After outperforming the competing teams from other universities in the Central region of Vietnam, it was not surprising that the outstanding group of students from the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture of Dong A University was named the first prize in this Presentation contest.

The winning group received a one-night stay at Mikazuki Resort Danang and tickets to the indoor water park at Mikazuki Resort Danang.

The Da Nang Foreign Affairs conducted the Kanagawa festival in Da Nang 2023 in collaboration with the Kanagawa Provincial Government (Japan) to provide information about studying abroad, employment in Kanagawa and distinguishing values in cultural tourism of Kanagawa and Vietnam. This is a worthwhile activity that contributes to improving relationships between Vietnam & Japan in general, Da Nang city and Kanagawa province in particular.

The program was attended by the Kanagawa Provincial Delegation led by Mr. Yuji Kuroiwa, Kanagawa Provincial Governor, Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang; and a number of Japanese organizations and businesses located in Da Nang city. On the Da Nang side, there were delegates from the Da Nang People's Committee, Departments, Boards, and Sectors; and roughly 400 students from Dong A University and other universities in the Central region of Vietnam.
