The granting ceremony of the President of Lao People’s Democratic Republic to individuals and organization of Danang city was jointly held by Danang city and Savannakhet on the last November 28th.

Mr Luong Minh Sam, former director of Danang Department of Foreign Affairs has the honor to receive the Metal of Friendship from the President of Lao People’ Democratic Republic. For being on a business trip to Japan, Mr Luong Minh Sam couldn’t attend this significant event.

Mr Luong Minh Sam, also former director of Danang Departmet of Foreign Affairs to Japan, is now the vice rector of Dong A Univeristy in charge of international cooperation programs, internship and job programs to Japan, Singapore, German for students.

As the To Quoc news reported, the President of Lao People’s Demoratic Republic had granted first class Labor Medal for Danang People’s Committee for exellent accomplishments in supporting Savanakhet province to devevop infrastructure and human resource training in the past time. These accomplishment importantly contribute to the friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between two Parties, two States and people of two countries.

Granted the third-class Freedom Metals for 4 individuals, including : Mr Vo Chi Cong, Da nang Deputy Permanent Secretary, Mr Huynh Van Tho- President of Danang People’s Committee, Mr Ho Ky Minh- Vice President of Danang People’s Committee, Mr Phung Tan Viet – former Vice President  of Danang People’s Committee . These indivisuals have had exellecent contribution to the development of Savannakhet in the past time.

Granted the Friendship Metal for Mr Luong Minh Sam – former Director of Danang Department of Foreign Affairs.

In the ceremony, in procuration of President of Lao People’s Democratic Republic, the provincial Secretary, Bashaw of Savannakhet province Santiphab Phomivihane granted medals for organization and idividuals above.
