14 students of Dong A University recruited for internship and work in Japan in December

On 9th December, the Dong A University’s Board of Directors and leaders of the Faculties of Medicine, Tourism and English Language had a meeting with a group of students who are going to intern and work in Japan this December.

Attending the meeting were representatives of parents of above-mentioned 14 students.

This group of 14 students all have completed the specialized training and achieved Japanese skills of N4 before leaving for Japan. Among them, 6 nursing students will be the first members to work at Kameda Group’s hospital system in Chiba as nursing care assistants.

This is the cooperation program signed between Dong A University and Kameda Medical Group (Japan) since August 2018. The cooperation agreement also opens up the career path for students at the end of internship. The students will spend about 1.5 years to work in parallel with complete profession and Japanese language to receive Japan’s nursing certificate. This is the period of preparation for all students to work for Japanese organizations in long term.

6 other students will work in the hotel system in Kyoto and 2 students will do internship at Dormy-Inn Group’s hotel in Tokyo.

“The cooperation program not only attempts to find employment for students but also aims to prepare high-quality Japan-trained human resources who will return to contribute in medical and tourism facilities in Vietnam”, said Mr. Luong Minh Sam - Vice Rector of Dong A University.
