Dong A University has officially signed an agreement with Aieraa Overseas Studies (India) to admit international students into the Medical Doctor program starting from the 2025 – 2026 academic year.

The cooperation agreement between Dong A University and Aieraa Overseas Studies (India) opens up opportunities for international students to access high-quality medical education in Vietnam through the Doctor of Medicine program at Dong A University. Thus marking a new development in international cooperation in medical education at UDA.
The signing ceremony was held both in-person and online, with representatives from both sides in attendance. On behalf of Dong A University, Mr. Luong Minh Sam – Chairman of the University Council, and Dr. Do Trong Tuan – Executive Vice President. Representing Aieraa Overseas Studies was Ms. Ranganathan Deepa – Director and President.

Notably, the ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Tran Nguyen Minh Thanh – Deputy Director of the Department of Education & Training of Da Nang City, Dr. Quach Huu Trung – Director of Hospital 199 under the Ministry of Public Security, and former Vietnamese Ambassador to India – Mr. Pham Sanh Chau – who attended online.
According to the agreement, Dong A University will receive and train international medical students from countries such as India, Nepal, Iran, Sri Lanka, Middle Eastern countries, Africa, and various other Asian nations starting from the 2025-2026 academic year. Aieraa Overseas Studies will select at least 50 students who meet the necessary criteria to study in Vietnam. This presents a great opportunity for international students to pursue their dream of becoming doctors in an international learning environment with high-quality education at Dong A University.
Additionally, the partnership between Dong A University and Aieraa Overseas Studies will expand to include scientific research and international exchange activities. Both parties are committed to promoting student, faculty, and researcher exchange programs and jointly organizing seminars and academic conferences. Collaborative research projects between the two sides will enhance educational quality and contribute to the overall development of the healthcare sector.
During this visit to Dong A University, the leadership of Aieraa Overseas Studies also discussed with the university's administration about specific activities to be implemented following the newly signed agreement.
