Dong A University and Newton University, Czech Republic, have recently signed a cooperation agreement aimed at promoting education and research, creating new opportunities for students and faculty from both institutions.
On October 23, a signing ceremony took place at Dong A University between Dong A University and Newton University, Czech Republic.
This agreement not only marks an important milestone in Dong A University's international cooperation but also opens up many new opportunities in faculty and student exchange programs, particularly with regards to European research programs.
During the event, Mr. Luong Minh Sam – Chairman of the Board of Dong A University and Dr. Anna Plechatá Krausová – President of Newton University signed and exchanged the cooperation documents.
The cooperation agreement includes a variety of practical activities such as student and faculty exchanges, as well as joint research projects. Specifically, both universities will facilitate short-term and long-term exchange programs for faculty and students to enhance the quality of teaching and research.
In addition, the exchange of information and knowledge through workshops and conferences coordinated between the two institutions will help update the latest developments in higher education. Both sides will also implement joint research projects, creating more opportunities for further collaboration in the future.
With this meeting, the leaders of both universities expressed their belief that this partnership will contribute to enhancing the prestige and image of both institutions in the international education community, providing favorable opportunities for students and faculty to experience learning and cultural exchange abroad.
The signing ceremony took place during the visit of international experts from Newton University, who participated in the 11th International Conference on Mobility, Internet of Things, and Smart Cities (MobilityIoT), part of the international seminar series “Smart Living EAI 2024: The Age of Artificial Intelligence” held at Dong A University on October 22 & 23. This further solidifies the position of both universities, enhances the quality of the cooperation program, and expands the network connections in the fields of education and research at Dong A University.
