The signing ceremony of research cooperation, application, and transfer of research findings with domestic partners took place on March 30, during the launching ceremony of Dong A University's Scientific Journal.
Mr. Hoang Cong Thanh - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Tra District, Da Nang City (on the left side) and Mr. Luong Minh Sam - Chairman of the Council of Dong A University signed a cooperation agreement on scientific research and application of research results between Dong A University and People's Committee of Son Tra District, Danang.
Collaboration in the realm of scientific study and application of research findings with the People's Committee of Son Tra District. In Da Nang, the two entities will coordinate resources to carry out scientific research projects and utilize research findings; collaboration in human resource training and development to enhance the socioeconomic development of Son Tra in the future.
According to the partnership material, three subjects and two projects will be implemented in 2022-2023. Three themes are being researched: migration of some varieties of bamboo for Tre Viet Thematic Cultural Park - Son Tra district; planting some medicinal plants in Son Tra peninsula; and applying seafood drying technology on a small scale in households. Two initiatives are in the works: beekeeping for honey on the Son Tra peninsula and promoting the Son Tra area through the image of the gray-shanked douc.
In the following phase, Dong A University will assist training and job placement overseas, with a concentration on the Japanese market, for district inhabitants; as well as training and enhancing foreign language abilities for Son Tra district authorities and employees.
Mr. Hoang Cong Thanh, Chairman of Son Tra District People's Committee spoke at the ceremony and praised Dong A University's accomplishment in education and new breakthroughs in public science activities. Dong A University's Science Journal was launched using cutting-edge technologies. The first stage in this collaboration is on the theme "Tre Viet Thematic Cultural Park", which UDA chaired and implemented by the selection committee. Cooperation on scientific and technical research between the two parties is also a prerequisite for future cooperation in other domains.

In terms of scientific research, the two sides will also collaborate to organize scientific research, consult and transfer research results to needy localities, and collaborate in conducting research on scientific topics, schemes and projects with local budgets, or community engagement in a variety of fields.
