On December 16, within the framework of the Vietnam - Japan Economic Forum: "Economic Relations in a New Era - Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia and the World" took place. In Tokyo, Japan, East Asia University and Sun Frontier Group officially reached an agreement to cooperate in training and supplying high-quality human resources to the Japanese market, in the presence of Prime Minister Pham Minh. Cooperation between Dong A University and Sun Frontier - a group operating in the field of real estate and hotel business in Japan, Vietnam, and other countries - is among 20 bilateral cooperation agreements signed in Forum this time.

In the first stage of cooperation, the career value chain is designed for students majoring in Japanese Language, Hotel, Travel, Electrical - Electronics, and Construction at Dong A University. Accordingly, right from the stage of training knowledge, skills, attitudes, and working culture for students of various majors, Japanese language, working rules in receiving units in Japan, knowledge related to Specified skills exams, internship programs for 3rd year students and long-term work at companies in Japan after graduation are all implemented according to Japanese standards.

This cooperation agreement also contributes to diversifying the fields of cooperation and employment for students in the network of more than 100 cooperative partners with Dong A University in Japan, in addition to academic cooperation and exchange programs. exchange lecturers and students, expand learning opportunities for students, and promote academic research for lecturers developed with universities and research institutes in Japan. With an expected roadmap of 10-20 students being accepted to work at Sun Frontier every year, the cooperation will also contribute to ensuring the quality of human resources for the goal of having 500 students from East Asia University majors come to Sun Frontier. Professional internship and work in Japan from 2025.

In 2019, also at the Vietnam Investment Promotion Conference "Promoting Vietnam - Japan Cooperation for Prosperity and mutual trust" taking place in Tokyo, Japan, Dong A University and Ajinkai Healthcare Group, Japan also officially reached a comprehensive cooperation agreement on training and supplying nursing human resources to work at the hospital system and medical facilities under the group. With a methodical investment strategy from the practice skills labs system and Japanese standard training program, dispatching lecturers who are Japanese nursing experts to directly instruct student courses, to the quality of students working in Japan,... cooperation has been voted by JETRO as a typical example of effective cooperation between Vietnamese universities and Japanese business corporations.
