Discussion on cooperation with National Pingtung University of Science and Technology
On March 23rd, Dong A University (UDA) and National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) have discussed about the joint programs and agree on signing MOU.
After considering the curriculum and facilities of UDA, Ph.D Chang-Hsien Tai - President of NPUST found that there are similarities in curriculum structure of two universities, so it is convenient to conduct cooperation in some extents. The 3 + 1 program will focus on Civil Engineering, Electronics, Food Science, and Finance which are taught in English and are the hot fields in Vietnam.
Regarding 3 + 1 program cooperation in bachelor degree, students will study the first three years at UDA and the last year at NPUST. The students study at NPUST for the 4th year will do the research at the enterprises with the support of their professors and write the report after the completing the research. Students need to complete 128 credit hours within 4 years to get the Bachelor degree from NPUST.
Two universities will conduct teacher exchanging programs. Dr. Chang-Hsien Tai suggested that NPUST will offer scholarships and provide the best conditions for studying and living at NPUST for teachers of Dong A University
