The signing ceremony of the partnership between Dong A University and Japan Foods Holding took place on January 10, opening up international internship opportunities for students in Tourism, English Language, and Chinese Language programs. Through this cooperation, Dong A University students will have the chance to participate in a three-month paid internship in the "Lion City."
An excellent opportunity awaits Dong A University students at the beginning of 2025, as the university officially partners with Japan Foods Holding—one of the leading corporations in Japanese cuisine. Japan Foods Holding currently operates more than 50 Japanese restaurants in Singapore.
The partnership signing ceremony on January 10 marks a significant milestone in enhancing the university's training quality and expanding internship and job opportunities in Singapore for students in Tourism, English Language, and Chinese Language programs.
Through this three-month professional training internship program, Dong A University students will receive hands-on training in restaurant operations and kitchen management. This international internship program in Singapore provides students with a valuable opportunity to experience a professional working environment, develop essential skills, and prepare for their future careers.
During the event, Mr. Lim Jun Xiang—Representative of the Human Resources Department at Japan Foods Holding—along with Ms. Nguyen Dang My Duyen, Program Manager for the Singapore Internship at Blue Galaxy, shared insights with Dong A University students about the opportunities and specific directions available through the program.
Immediately after the signing ceremony, Japan Foods Holding conducted interviews with eight students from the Tourism and English Language & Culture faculty. As a result, five students were successfully selected and are expected to receive full support in completing their travel procedures to Singapore by the end of this month.

The university is actively strengthening partnerships with organizations in Singapore to increase promising career prospects for students. Over the past month, three Dong A University students have successfully traveled to Singapore, while many others are in the process of completing their applications and attending interviews with Singaporean companies.
