Trường Đại học Đông Á đã có cuộc gặp và làm việc với đoàn Tổng Lãnh sự quán Hàn Quốc tại Đà Nẵng, cùng trao đổi các định hướng hợp tác về giáo dục, học thuật, học bổng và mở rộng cơ hội học tập, trải nghiệm và việc làm cho sinh viên.
Chiều ngày 24/8, ông Han Jungil – tân Tổng Lãnh sự Hàn Quốc tại Đà Nẵng cùng đoàn công tác Tổng lãnh sự quán Hàn Quốc tại Đà Nẵng đã có buổi làm việc tại Trường Đại học Đông Á.
Chuyến thăm là dịp hai bên cùng nhìn lại hành trình gần 6 năm kết nối và đồng hành giữa Trường Đại học Đông Á và Tổng Lãnh sự quán Hàn Quốc tại Đà Nẵng, đồng thời trao đổi về các hoạt động hợp tác trong lĩnh vực giáo dục, học bổng, giao lưu học thuật, tìm kiếm thêm những cơ hội kết nối giữa Trường Đại học Đông Á với các cơ quan, doanh nghiệp và đối tác Hàn Quốc trong thời gian tới.
Đón tiếp ông Han Jungil – tân Tổng Lãnh sự cùng các thành viên đoàn công tác Tổng Lãnh sự quán Hàn Quốc tại Đà Nẵng, về phía Trường Đại học Đông Á có thầy Lương Minh Sâm – Chủ tịch Hội đồng trường; PGS.TS. Đinh Thành Việt – Phó Hiệu trưởng; TS. Phan Hoàng My Thương – Trưởng khoa Ngôn ngữ và Văn hóa Hàn Quốc.
Tại buổi làm việc, hai bên trao đổi về những tiềm năng hợp tác trong giáo dục và đào tạo, tập trung vào các chương trình giao lưu, trao đổi học thuật, học bổng và các hoạt động kết nối sinh viên với cơ hội học tập, trải nghiệm tại Hàn Quốc.
Phát biểu tại chương trình, thầy Lương Minh Sâm – Chủ tịch Hội đồng trường Đại học Đông Á chia sẻ về định hướng quốc tế hóa của Nhà trường, đồng thời nhấn mạnh mong muốn tiếp tục tăng cường kết nối với các đối tác Hàn Quốc trong đào tạo, giao lưu học thuật và phát triển nguồn nhân lực.
Từ phía Tổng Lãnh sự quán Hàn Quốc tại Đà Nẵng, ông Han Jungil – Tổng Lãnh sự thông tin về những định hướng hợp tác trong thời gian tới, đồng thời ghi nhận và đánh giá cao các hoạt động kết nối quốc tế mà Trường Đại học Đông Á đã và đang triển khai.
Cũng trong buổi trao đổi, Tổng Lãnh sự Han Jungil cũng bày tỏ mong muốn trong thời gian tới sẽ có thêm những buổi gặp gỡ trực tiếp với sinh viên ngành Ngôn ngữ và Văn hóa Hàn Quốc tại Trường Đại học Đông Á. Thông qua các hoạt động giao lưu, chia sẻ và giảng dạy trực tiếp, sinh viên có thêm cơ hội thực hành ngôn ngữ, hiểu sâu hơn về văn hóa, con người và đất nước Hàn Quốc, qua đó nuôi dưỡng tình yêu, sự quan tâm đối với tiếng Hàn và văn hóa Hàn Quốc, đồng thời góp phần tăng cường sự gắn kết giữa thế hệ trẻ hai nước.
Từ ngôn ngữ đến văn hóa, từ lớp học đến những trải nghiệm thực tế, Khoa Ngôn ngữ và Văn hóa Hàn Quốc Đại học Đông Á kỳ vọng các hoạt động hợp tác trong thời gian tới sẽ tiếp tục mở rộng không gian học tập và giao lưu cho sinh viên, đồng thời góp phần đưa văn hóa Việt Nam và Hàn Quốc đến gần nhau hơn.
Thời gian qua, Trường Đại học Đông Á đã và đang tăng cường mở rộng mạng lưới đối tác Hàn Quốc, tập trung vào các hoạt động giao lưu sinh viên, trao đổi học thuật, hợp tác đào tạo và kết nối doanh nghiệp, qua đó tạo thêm môi trường học tập quốc tế và cơ hội nghề nghiệp cho sinh viên.
Chỉ riêng trong tháng 8/2026, Nhà trường đã tổ chức chương trình giao lưu quốc tế kéo dài 2 tuần với Trường Đại học Quốc gia Jeju (Hàn Quốc), tạo điều kiện để sinh viên hai trường giao lưu văn hóa, học tập và trải nghiệm môi trường giáo dục của nhau. Cùng với đó, hai trường đã ký kết hợp tác, mở rộng các hoạt động giao lưu và trao đổi học thuật trong thời gian tới.
Ở lĩnh vực đào tạo gắn với nhu cầu doanh nghiệp, ngày 10/8, Trường Đại học Đông Á vừa ký kết hợp tác với Good Elevator (Hàn Quốc), hướng đến đào tạo và phát triển nguồn nhân lực trong lĩnh vực thang máy – thang cuốn. Dự kiến cuối tháng 8, Nhà trường tiếp tục ký kết với Trường Cao đẳng Thang máy Hàn Quốc Lift College, mở rộng thêm cơ hội hợp tác đào tạo và phát triển nguồn nhân lực trong lĩnh vực này.
Trường Đại học Đông Á tiếp tục khẳng định định hướng đẩy mạnh hội nhập quốc tế, mở rộng hợp tác với các đối tác Hàn Quốc theo hướng thực chất, hiệu quả, đồng thời góp phần tăng cường kết nối giáo dục, đào tạo và giao lưu giữa thế hệ trẻ hai nước, đóng góp vào việc vun đắp mối quan hệ hợp tác hữu nghị Việt Nam – Hàn Quốc.

Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Danang Visits Dong A University, Strengthening Vietnam–South Korea Educational and Cultural Connections
Dong A University welcomed a delegation from the Consulate General of South Korea in Da Nang for a meeting to discuss directions for cooperation in education, academic exchange and scholarships while expanding opportunities for students to study, gain international experiences and pursue careers in South Korea.
On the afternoon of August 24, Han Jungil, the newly appointed Consul General of the Consulate General of South Korea in Da Nang, and a delegation from the Consulate General of South Korea in Da Nang visited and worked with Dong A University.
The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to look back on nearly six years of connection and cooperation between Dong A University and the Consulate General of South Korea in Da Nang while discussing future collaboration in education, scholarships and academic exchange. The two sides also explored opportunities to strengthen connections between Dong A University and South Korean organizations, businesses and partners in the years ahead.
Welcoming Consul General Han Jungil and members of the delegation, Dong A University was represented by Luong Minh Sam, Chairman of the University Council; Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Thanh Viet, Vice President; and PhD Phan Hoang My Thuong, Dean of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed potential areas of cooperation in education and training, focusing on exchange programs, academic exchange, scholarships and activities connecting students with opportunities to study and gain practical experiences in South Korea.
Speaking at the meeting, Luong Minh Sam, Chairman of the Dong A University Council, shared the university's internationalization strategy and emphasized its desire to further strengthen connections with South Korean partners in education and training, academic exchange and human resource development.
Representing the Consulate General of South Korea in Da Nang, Consul General Han Jungil shared directions for cooperation in the coming period while recognizing and highly appreciating the international engagement activities that Dong A University has implemented and continues to develop.
During the discussion, Consul General Han Jungil also expressed his hope to have more opportunities to meet directly with students of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture at Dong A University. Through exchange activities, sharing sessions and direct teaching, students will have more opportunities to practice the Korean language and gain a deeper understanding of South Korean culture, people and society. These activities are expected to nurture students' interest in and passion for the Korean language and culture while contributing to stronger connections between the younger generations of the two countries.
From language to culture and from the classroom to real-world experiences, the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture at Dong A University expects future cooperation activities to further expand learning and exchange opportunities for students while bringing Vietnamese and South Korean cultures closer together.
In recent years, Dong A University has continued to expand its network of South Korean partners, focusing on student exchange, academic exchange, training cooperation and business engagement. These efforts have created a more international learning environment and opened up additional career opportunities for students.
In August 2026 alone, the university organized a two-week international exchange program with Jeju National University, South Korea, giving students from both universities opportunities to engage in cultural exchange, learn together and experience each other's educational environments. The two universities also signed a cooperation agreement to expand exchange and academic collaboration in the future.
In training linked to business needs, on August 10, Dong A University signed a cooperation agreement with Good Elevator of South Korea to train and develop human resources for the elevator and escalator industry. At the end of August, the university is also expected to sign a cooperation agreement with Korea Lift College, further expanding opportunities for training cooperation and human resource development in this field.
Dong A University continues to affirm its commitment to international integration and to developing substantive and effective partnerships with South Korean institutions and organizations. Through these efforts, the university aims to strengthen educational, training and youth exchange connections between the two countries while contributing to the continued development of the friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and South Korea.
