Ngày 27/8, Trường Đại học Đông Á và Trường Thang máy Hàn Quốc (Korea Lift) đã ký kết biên bản ghi nhớ hợp tác, hướng đến phát triển chương trình đào tạo và kết nối việc làm cho sinh viên Đông Á trong lĩnh vực thang máy – thang cuốn.
Theo đó, thỏa thuận được xây dựng nhằm thúc đẩy hợp tác sâu rộng trong đào tạo, nghiên cứu khoa học, chuyển giao công nghệ và phát triển nguồn nhân lực chất lượng cao ngành kỹ thuật thang máy – thang cuốn, đáp ứng thực tiễn doanh nghiệp trong bối cảnh hiện nay.
Đáng chú ý, hợp tác hướng đến mở rộng cơ hội để sinh viên Đại học Đông Á được học tập, thực hành, thực tập và tiếp cận môi trường làm việc thực tế tại Hàn Quốc thông qua chương trình đào tạo song bằng. Qua đó, sinh viên được rèn luyện năng lực nghề nghiệp gắn liền với thực tiễn doanh nghiệp và khả năng thích ứng trong ngành kỹ thuật nói chung và thang máy – thang cuốn nói riêng tại các quốc gia trên thế giới.
Ông Lee Hyun-Seok, Hiệu trưởng trường Korea Lift chia sẻ: “Bằng việc học tập, nắm vững công nghệ về thang máy, sinh viên Việt Nam nói chung và sinh viên Đại học Đông Á nói riêng có thể phát triển chuyên môn này thành nghề nghiệp lâu dài và bền vững. Trong bối cảnh nhu cầu về thang máy trên toàn cầu được dự báo tiếp tục tăng cao, chúng tôi kỳ vọng các em sẽ có cơ hội ứng dụng kiến thức, kỹ năng về công nghệ thang máy và làm việc tại nhiều quốc gia trên thế giới. Tôi mong sẽ ngày càng nhiều sinh viên Việt Nam tự tin bước ra thế giới, phát huy năng lực và tự hào khẳng định kỹ năng nghề nghiệp của mình trong lĩnh vực này.”
Trường Korea Lift hiện là trường đại học chuyên ngành thang máy đầu tiên và duy nhất trên thế giới, đồng thời là cơ sở đào tạo cao học duy nhất trong lĩnh vực này. Nhà trường phát triển chương trình đào tạo theo định hướng thực hành, với hệ thống cơ sở vật chất chuyên biệt gồm phòng thực hành thang máy, thang cuốn, phòng điều khiển cùng phòng thực hành ứng dụng công nghệ VR. Sinh viên ĐH Đông Á theo học chương trình sẽ được tiếp cận các thiết bị theo tiêu chuẩn thực tế của doanh nghiệp, được thực hành lắp đặt, tháo dỡ, điều khiển, bảo trì và mô phỏng các tình huống kỹ thuật trong môi trường an toàn.
Đặc biệt, hợp tác giữa hai trường còn mở ra hướng kết nối để sinh viên Đại học Đông Á có cơ hội làm việc lâu dài tại Hàn Quốc. Tương đồng với định hướng đào tạo của Đại học Đông Á trong việc đưa doanh nghiệp tham gia sâu hơn vào quá trình đào tạo, trường Korea Lift hiện phát triển mô hình đào tạo gắn chặt với nhu cầu tuyển dụng và việc làm. Trường có hệ thống hỗ trợ việc làm theo nhu cầu cho từng sinh viên, kết nối với mạng lưới doanh nghiệp lớn trong ngành thang máy. Đáng chú ý, tỷ lệ sinh viên nhà trường “đầu quân” vào các tập đoàn và doanh nghiệp lớn như Hyundai Elevator, Mitsubishi Elevator, Otis, Schindler, Fujitec... lên đến 53,4%.
Trường cũng tổ chức hội chợ tuyển dụng ngành thang máy ngay tại khuôn viên trường với sự tham gia của hơn 50 doanh nghiệp, đồng thời triển khai các chương trình thực tập tại nhiều doanh nghiệp về thang máy. Đây là cơ hội để sinh viên Đại học Đông Á tiếp cận môi trường làm việc thực tế, tích lũy kinh nghiệm chuyên môn và mở rộng cơ hội việc làm tại xứ sở kim chi.
Với Đại học Đông Á, hợp tác lần này tiếp tục mở rộng hệ sinh thái liên kết với các cơ sở giáo dục nước ngoài theo hướng lấy trải nghiệm thực tiễn và khả năng làm việc quốc tế của người học làm trung tâm. Đây là bước khởi đầu cho hợp tác lâu dài được kỳ vọng sẽ phát triển theo chiều sâu: đào tạo gắn với nhu cầu doanh nghiệp, tăng cường thực hành, tiếp cận công nghệ mới và mở rộng cơ hội việc làm quốc tế.

Dong A University Signs Cooperation Agreement with Korea Lift, Opening New Pathways for Internationally Oriented Technical Training
On August 27, Dong A University and Korea Lift signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at developing training programs and connecting Dong A students with employment opportunities in the elevator and escalator industry.
The agreement is designed to promote extensive cooperation in education and training, scientific research, technology transfer and the development of highly qualified human resources in elevator and escalator engineering, addressing the practical needs of businesses in today’s rapidly changing environment.
Notably, the partnership aims to expand opportunities for Dong A University students to study, practice, undertake internships and gain exposure to real-world working environments in South Korea through a dual-degree program. Through this pathway, students will develop professional competencies closely aligned with industry needs as well as the adaptability required to work in the engineering sector in general and the elevator and escalator industry in particular in countries around the world.
Lee Hyun-Seok, President of Korea Lift, shared: “By studying and mastering elevator technology, Vietnamese students in general and Dong A University students in particular can develop this expertise into a long-term and sustainable career. As global demand for elevators is expected to continue growing, we hope students will have opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills in elevator technology and work in countries around the world. Korea Lift is currently the world’s first and only university specializing in elevator engineering and is also the only graduate-level institution dedicated to this field. The university has developed practice-oriented training programs supported by specialized facilities, including elevator and escalator practice rooms, control rooms and VR-based technology training facilities. Through the program, Dong A University students will have access to equipment that meets real-world industry standards and gain hands-on experience in installation, dismantling, operation, maintenance and the simulation of technical situations in a safe training environment.
Importantly, the cooperation between the two universities also creates pathways for Dong A University students to pursue long-term employment opportunities in South Korea. In line with Dong A University’s approach of involving businesses more deeply in the training process, Korea Lift has developed a training model closely connected to recruitment and employment needs. The university provides individualized employment support for students and connects them with a broad network of major companies in the elevator industry. Notably, 53.4% of Korea Lift graduates go on to work for major corporations and businesses such as Hyundai Elevator, Mitsubishi Elevator, Otis, Schindler and Fujitec.
The university also organizes elevator industry job fairs directly on campus, attracting more than 50 participating companies, while offering internship programs at various elevator businesses. These opportunities allow Dong A University students to experience real-world working environments, gain professional experience and expand their employment prospects in South Korea.
