The Final Round of the English Master Speakers 2026 English Speech Competition took place on May 31, featuring impressive performances from the eight outstanding finalists.
English Master Speakers is an annual competition organized by the Faculty of English Language and Culture at Dong A University. In 2026, the competition entered its 4th edition with the theme “The Environment & Natural Disasters.”
The competition attracted more than 100 participants, including high school and university students with a passion for English, from universities, colleges, and high schools across the Central and Central Highlands regions of Vietnam.
At the final round, the eight best contestants competed with confident and persuasive speeches. Demonstrating fluent English proficiency, sharp critical thinking, and professional presentation skills, the contestants delivered fresh perspectives on environmental issues and natural disasters—topics receiving global attention today.
In the THE GREEN GUARDIANS category (English majors), Dong A University students achieved outstanding results in the final rankings: Le Dinh Gia Huy (EL25N – Dak Lak Campus) excellently won First Prize; To Gia Bao (EL25E) received Second Prize; Tran Dao Ngoc Chau (EL24D) won Third Prize; and Huynh Ngoc Thach (EL24D) received the Consolation Prize.
In the THE ECO AVENGERS category (non-English majors), Nguyen Pham Hanh Nguyen from Nguyen Trai High School, Da Nang won First Prize; Tran Thi Anh Minh from Luong The Vinh High School, Quang Nam received Second Prize; Pham The Hien from FPT Polytechnic won Third Prize; and Vo Thi Phuoc Hau from Thai Phien High School, Thang Binh received the Consolation Prize.
More than a platform for showcasing English proficiency, English Master Speakers 2026 provided learners with opportunities to develop critical thinking, communication skills, and the confidence to express their perspectives on global issues. It also served as an environment where Dong A University students could continuously challenge themselves, maximize their foreign language strengths, and confidently embrace global integration on their future development journey.
