The 18th annual Job Fair was also held just ahead of the graduation ceremony of Đại học Đông Á. The event was attended by leaders of various departments and agencies of Da Nang City, educational institutions, representatives of domestic enterprises and FDI companies in Central Vietnam, as well as a large number of student candidates from the university and workers across Da Nang.
Speaking at the opening session of the Job Fair, Mr. Nguyễn Quí Quý – Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Home Affairs – stated: “After the merger, Da Nang City is facing tremendous opportunities, including expanded development space, greater growth potential, favorable geographical positioning, demographic advantages, and a large labor force. These favorable conditions make Da Nang a highly promising destination with many opportunities for domestic and international investors to conduct research, explore opportunities, and make major investments in industrial zones and industrial clusters across the city, from Hai Van and Hoa Khanh to Hoi An, Thang Binh, Tam Ky, and Nui Thanh. This also opens up significant job opportunities for workers to find employment in their hometown while contributing to Da Nang’s growth as an important economic hub of the country in the coming years.”
He further emphasized: “The responsibility of state management agencies, businesses, and educational institutions is to connect the employment needs of workers with the recruitment demands of enterprises, thereby helping workers secure jobs while ensuring businesses have the labor supply needed for their production, business, and service activities.”
The 2026 Job Fair at Đại học Đông Á attracted 209 recruiting companies, including 106 enterprises conducting direct interviews at the event and 103 enterprises authorizing recruitment through the Da Nang Employment Service Center. The total recruitment demand reached 41,106 positions across seven key sectors: hospitality and accommodation, finance and banking, engineering, communications, logistics and supply chain management, healthcare, and overseas employment services.
With more than 8,000 registrations and interview participants at the 106 on-site recruiting companies, the 2026 Job Fair became the largest event in the university’s history in terms of participating enterprises, job openings, industry diversity, and attendance compared to previous editions.
Associate Professor Dr. Đinh Thành Việt – Vice Rector of Dong A University – stated:
“The 2026 Job Fair is not only for students of Dong A University, but also expands the ‘employment map’ for all students and workers in Da Nang City, contributing to social welfare and local economic development.”
He added: “In 2025 alone, Dong A University sent 296 students abroad for internships and employment, bringing the total number of students participating in overseas internships and work placements to nearly 1,200. The employment rate before graduation in some majors exceeds 72% (such as Chinese Language Studies), while the employment rate one year after graduation exceeds 91% — clear evidence of the effectiveness of the university’s enterprise-linked training model.”
At the opening session, Đại học Đông Á also signed 14 new cooperation agreements with corporate partners participating in training and workforce supply programs in fields such as Economics, Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Automotive Technology, Information Technology, and Languages.
These partnerships not only expand the university’s domestic and international network to more than 700 partner organizations — especially large enterprises and FDI companies — but also provide practical professional experiences for students throughout their studies. Along with specialized career workshops and enterprise semesters, internship pathways at partner organizations are designed to prioritize official recruitment after graduation each year.
Participating in the signing ceremony and student recruitment activities at the 2026 Job Fair, Mr. Dương Hoàng Nguyên – General Manager of AEON Mall Da Nang Thanh Khe – remarked: “The Job Fair serves not only as a connection between universities, businesses, and workers, creating opportunities for university and college students as well as job seekers in Da Nang, but also as an effective bridge that shortens the gap between employers and employees while providing timely and suitable employment opportunities for the community. Today’s program also marks an important milestone for long-term and sustainable cooperation between educational institutions and the business community.”

Preparing CVs to apply to three companies, Nguyễn Công Lực – a final-year Multimedia Communication student at Dong A University – enthusiastically shared:
“The university’s annual Job Fair has for many years created opportunities for students to connect with businesses and employment opportunities, always attracting a large number of participants. This year’s event is especially large-scale and covers diverse recruitment sectors, giving students like me more opportunities to access enterprise demands and find suitable jobs related to our fields of study before graduation.”
Before participating in the lively interview sessions at the recruitment booths, students were also carefully prepared through workshops on job-search skills in the digital era and personal branding to help them make strong impressions during interviews.
Earlier, Đại học Đông Á also organized the 11th Japan Job Fair on April 17 and the AEON Mall Recruitment Day on April 18, recording significant growth in both the quality and quantity of recruitment opportunities for Dong A University students working and developing careers with Japanese partners and FDI enterprises in Vietnam.
