On April 14, Shanghai University of Science and Technology (Taiwan-China) had a business trip to Dong A University, aiming to promote some potential areas of international cooperation in education and training.
Attending the meeting on behalf of Dong A University were Mr. Luong Minh Sam – Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Tran Truyen Tuan – Head of the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture; Dr. Le Minh Xuan – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Automotive Engineering; Dr. Ho Man Giang – Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; and Dr. Vo Thi Mai Hoa – Program Advisor of the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture.
Representing Shanghai University of Science and Technology were Mr. Li Jiang – Chairman of the University Council; Mr. Gao Xiwen – Director of the Council Office; Ms. Wang Qin – Director of the International Office; Ms. Zhu Bei – Director of the Admissions Office; Mr. Fang Yu – Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering; and Mr. Wang Guoqiang – Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics.
During the meeting, both sides discussed and reached a consensus on strategic cooperation in training high-quality human resources. The focus is on developing joint training programs in key fields such as electric vehicle technology, automotive design, and artificial intelligence—disciplines with high practical application and aligned with global industrial and technological development trends.
This event not only opens up international learning and research opportunities for students but also enhances academic connectivity and professional exchange between lecturers and experts from both universities. It also lays an important foundation for long-term cooperation, aiming to develop advanced training programs that meet workforce demands in the context of international integration.
