Discussion with RMIT University, Vietnam

On the morning of the 9 September, 2012, Dong A University (UDA) warmly received representatives from RMIT University (RMIT) and discussed about educational cooperation possibilities between two universities.

On behalf of UDA, President Nguyen Thi Anh Dao, M.A., expressed pleasure to welcome Dr. Merilyn Liddell and her colleagues from RMIT University.

Mr Andrew Trần, Head of International Relations, gave the brief introduction of UDA with the hope of implementing the joint trainning plans with RMIT helps.

President Dao emphasized: “Dong A University always wishes to expand the joint training cooperation with national and international universities, especially RMIT University Vietnam. We put the focus on English program and Advanced Educational Program and hope to get the support from RMIT. In addition, this is an good chance for RMIT to find the students from the central region of Vietnam

On behalf of RMIT, Dr. Merilyn Liddell commited to share suggestions of UDA to the RMIT’s Board of Director and continue to discuss in details for further cooperation areas.

Cooperation with the high quality national and international universities is one of the key policies of UDA. The visit by delegation from RMIT opened collaborative opportunities between UDA and RMIT in advanced programs training in the long run.

Hopefully in the near future, the cooperation programs between UDA and RMIT will be put in the implementation in order that the Central students can experience the advanced and modern education
