On March 23, Dong A University held a signing ceremony with CheongJu University and Kyungnam IT College, two prestigious educational institutions in South Korea, to establish cooperation on study abroad and employment programs in South Korea for Dong A University students.
At the ceremony, Mr. Luong Minh Sam, Chairman of the Board of Dong A University, stated:
"Over time, the connection between Dong A University and our South Korean educational partners has gradually developed through student exchanges, collaborative training programs, and academic cooperation. Therefore, today’s signing ceremony is especially meaningful – it is not only about establishing a formal partnership between the institutions but also marks the beginning of a long-term, practical, and effective journey of collaboration between all parties."
Mr. Luong Minh Sam also expressed his expectation that today’s signing would lay the foundation for gradually implementing specific cooperative activities, including student exchanges, academic interactions, joint training programs, study abroad opportunities, and expanding higher education prospects for graduates.
During the program, three scholarships worth 5 million VND each from Dong A University were awarded to three students participating in the Korean Master’s Study Abroad – Evisa program. The recipients were: Nguyen Hoai Phuong (CS22A, Faculty of Information Technology), and Tran Gia Kiet and Le Hong Quy (both AE22E, Faculty of Automotive Technology, Dong A University).
Following the signing, representatives from the South Korean universities introduced the Evisa Master’s program, as well as study and work opportunities in South Korea, providing an overall picture of academic and career prospects in Korea to the students of Dong A University.
Through these initiatives, Dong A University students gain more opportunities to study and develop in fields such as technology, engineering, health, business, media, and postgraduate education – areas that align with global integration trends and future career demands. These programs also provide students with additional international exposure, motivating them to improve language skills, enhance professional expertise, develop practical skills, and better prepare for their career paths.
According to Dong A University’s development strategy, international cooperation is one of the key pillars for improving training quality, expanding learning, internship, and employment opportunities, and supporting students’ career development.
