Trại hè “Bridge to Keimyung Camp” là chương trình thường niên do Đại học Keimyung (Hàn Quốc) tổ chức. Thông qua chuỗi hoạt động học thuật, trải nghiệm văn hóa và giao lưu quốc tế, chương trình mang đến cơ hội để sinh viên khám phá môi trường học tập tại Hàn Quốc, mở rộng hiểu biết về văn hóa bản địa và phát triển năng lực hội nhập trong môi trường đa văn hóa.

Trại hè năm 2026 đánh dấu lần thứ 4 sinh viên Đại học Đông Á tham gia chương trình, tiếp nối hành trình giao lưu văn hóa, học tập quốc tế và khẳng định mối quan hệ hợp tác bền vững giữa hai trường.

Đến nay, đã có gần 30 sinh viên của trường tham gia trải nghiệm Bridge to Keimyung Camp, góp phần khẳng định hiệu quả của mối quan hệ hợp tác giữa Đại học Đông Á và Đại học Keimyung trong đào tạo, giao lưu học thuật và phát triển nguồn nhân lực chất lượng cao theo định hướng quốc tế.

Trong các mùa trước, sinh viên Đại học Đông Á đã có cơ hội tham quan khuôn viên Đại học Keimyung, trải nghiệm không gian học tập hiện đại và tìm hiểu những giá trị văn hóa truyền thống Hàn Quốc thông qua các hoạt động thú vị như mặc Hanbok, học lễ nghi tại làng Hanok, tham gia những lớp học văn hóa đặc sắc do giảng viên Hàn Quốc trực tiếp hướng dẫn như nhảy K-pop, học võ Taekwondo, trang trí gốm truyền thống, biểu diễn trống Samulnori,...

Không chỉ dừng lại ở các hoạt động trong khuôn viên trường, hành trình còn đưa sinh viên khám phá thành phố Daegu hiện đại và cố đô Gyeongju giàu giá trị lịch sử, tham quan nhiều địa danh nổi tiếng, thưởng thức ẩm thực địa phương và trải nghiệm các hoạt động giải trí tại công viên E-World. Chính những trải nghiệm thực tế ấy đã giúp việc học ngôn ngữ không chỉ gói gọn trên giảng đường mà trở nên sinh động, gần gũi và giàu cảm xúc.

Nhớ lại hành trình tại Bridge to Keimyung Camp 2025, bạn Khánh Ly – sinh viên Khoa Ngôn ngữ và Văn hóa Hàn Quốc chia sẻ: "Qua một tuần tham gia trại hè, em có cơ hội hiểu hơn về văn hóa, con người Hàn Quốc cũng như môi trường học tập tại Đại học Keimyung. Điều em thích nhất là những trải nghiệm thực tế mà chương trình mang lại. Chúng em được tìm hiểu về văn hóa cưới truyền thống của Hàn Quốc, mặc Hanbok, học Taekwondo và tham gia nhiều hoạt động giao lưu thú vị. Những trải nghiệm đó giúp em cảm nhận văn hóa Hàn Quốc một cách gần gũi hơn chứ không chỉ qua sách vở hay phim ảnh."

Không chỉ mang đến những kỷ niệm đáng nhớ, chương trình còn tạo ra những thay đổi rõ rệt trong quá trình học tập và phát triển năng lực ngoại ngữ, kỹ năng mềm của sinh viên.

Theo bạn Yên Nhi, chính việc được “đắm mình” trong môi trường ngôn ngữ và văn hóa bản địa đã giúp việc học tiếng Hàn trở nên tự nhiên và hiệu quả hơn: "Sau chuyến đi, em cảm thấy tự tin hơn khi sử dụng tiếng Hàn trong giao tiếp hằng ngày. Đặc biệt, nhờ việc trực tiếp trải nghiệm những nét văn hóa Hàn Quốc trong suốt thời gian tham gia trại hè, em có thể hiểu rõ hơn những nội dung văn hóa xuất hiện trong quá trình học tập. Đến khi gặp lại các kiến thức đó trên lớp hoặc trong sách vở, em đều cảm thấy: 'À, hóa ra điều này là như vậy.' Chính những trải nghiệm thực tế ấy đã giúp việc học tiếng Hàn trở nên dễ hiểu, sinh động và gần gũi hơn.

Bên cạnh đó, em cũng trở nên cởi mở và chủ động hơn trong việc giao tiếp với bạn bè quốc tế, làm việc nhóm và thích nghi với môi trường mới. Chuyến đi không chỉ giúp em nâng cao khả năng ngôn ngữ mà còn tạo cho em động lực học tập rất lớn. Em càng mong muốn có cơ hội quay trở lại Hàn Quốc trong tương lai để tiếp tục trải nghiệm, thực hành tiếng Hàn và khám phá thêm về văn hóa nơi đây."

Gửi lời nhắn đến những sinh viên sẽ lên đường tham gia Bridge to Keimyung Camp 2026, bạn Khánh Vy chia sẻ: "Đừng quá lo lắng nếu cảm thấy tiếng Hàn của mình chưa tốt hay sợ mình sẽ khó hòa nhập với môi trường mới vì chính các hoạt động trong chương trình sẽ giúp các bạn tự tin hơn. Hãy cởi mở, chủ động bắt chuyện, tham gia thật nhiệt tình và tận hưởng từng khoảnh khắc. Khi chuyến đi kết thúc, điều các bạn nhớ nhất sẽ không chỉ là những nơi mình đã đến mà còn là những người mình đã gặp và những trải nghiệm đáng quý mình đã có."

Bên cạnh những trải nghiệm văn hóa, môi trường học tập tại Đại học Keimyung cũng để lại nhiều ấn tượng trong lòng sinh viên Đại học Đông Á.“Khuôn viên trường rộng lớn, xanh mát cùng hệ thống phòng học, thư viện, khu thể thao và không gian sinh hoạt hiện đại đã khiến chúng em hình dung rõ nét về một môi trường giáo dục quốc tế năng động và tạo nhiều cơ hội phát triển cho sinh viên. Chúng em cũng cảm nhận được sự thân thiện, lịch sự và tinh thần trách nhiệm cao của các bạn sinh viên Hàn Quốc trong việc học tập cũng như cuộc sống hàng ngày. Điều đó truyền cảm hứng cho chúng em rất nhiều trong quá trình học tập ngoại ngữ của bản thân.”, Khánh Ly và Yên Nhi chia sẻ.

Đại học Đông Á và Đại học Keimyung đã có những hợp tác hiệu quả trong đào tạo nguồn nhân lực theo định hướng quốc tế hóa. Hai trường hiện đang phối hợp triển khai chương trình đào tạo quốc tế 2+2 ở các ngành Ngôn ngữ Hàn, Giáo dục tiếng Hàn, Quản trị Du lịch và Truyền thông.

Việc duy trì tham gia các hoạt động trao đổi học thuật, giao lưu văn hóa và chương trình trải nghiệm quốc tế như Bridge to Keimyung Camp không chỉ tạo thêm cơ hội học tập, hội nhập cho sinh viên mà còn tiếp tục khẳng định định hướng quốc tế hóa của Đại học Đông Á, từng bước xây dựng môi trường đào tạo gắn kết với các đối tác uy tín trong khu vực và trên thế giới.

From Da Nang to Daegu: Keimyung Summer Camp Expands the International Journey for Dong A University Students

On July 19, seven students from the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture at Dong A University will embark on a one-week journey to participate in the Bridge to Keimyung Camp 2026 International Summer Camp at Keimyung University in Daegu, South Korea.

Bridge to Keimyung Camp is an annual program organized by Keimyung University. Through a series of academic activities, cultural experiences and international exchange events, the program provides students with the opportunity to explore the Korean learning environment, deepen their understanding of local culture and strengthen their ability to thrive in a multicultural setting.

The 2026 Summer Camp marks the fourth time Dong A University students have participated in the program, continuing a meaningful journey of cultural exchange and international learning while reaffirming the long-standing partnership between the two universities.

To date, nearly 30 Dong A University students have taken part in the Bridge to Keimyung Camp, demonstrating the effectiveness of the collaboration between Dong A University and Keimyung University in academic exchange, education and the development of internationally oriented, high-quality human resources.
In previous seasons of the program, Dong A University students had the opportunity to tour the Keimyung University campus, experience its modern learning environment and discover the richness of Korean traditional culture through a variety of engaging activities. These included wearing Hanbok, learning traditional etiquette in a Hanok village and participating in cultural classes taught directly by Korean instructors, such as K-pop dance, Taekwondo, traditional ceramic decoration and Samulnori drum performances.

Beyond activities on campus, the program also took students to explore the modern city of Daegu and the historic city of Gyeongju, visiting well-known landmarks, sampling local cuisine and enjoying recreational activities at E-World theme park. These immersive experiences transformed language learning from something confined to the classroom into a vivid, engaging and memorable journey.

Reflecting on her experience at Bridge to Keimyung Camp 2025, Khanh Ly, a student from the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture, shared: "During the one-week summer camp, I had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Korean culture, its people and the learning environment at Keimyung University. What I enjoyed most were the hands-on experiences the program offered. We learned about traditional Korean wedding customs, wore Hanbok, practiced Taekwondo and participated in many exciting cultural exchange activities. These experiences allowed me to appreciate Korean culture in a much more authentic way, beyond what I had learned through textbooks or films."

In addition to creating lasting memories, the program has also brought about noticeable improvements in students' academic development, language proficiency and soft skills.

According to Yen Nhi, being fully immersed in the Korean language and cultural environment made learning Korean more natural and effective. "After the trip, I became much more confident using Korean in everyday conversations. More importantly, by experiencing Korean culture firsthand throughout the camp, I gained a much clearer understanding of the cultural concepts that appear in our coursework. Whenever I encountered those topics again in class or in textbooks, I would immediately think, 'So this is what it really means.' Those real-life experiences made learning Korean much easier to understand, more vivid and far more relatable.

I also became more open and proactive when communicating with international friends, working in teams and adapting to new environments. The trip not only improved my language skills but also gave me tremendous motivation to continue studying. I truly hope to return to South Korea in the future to further improve my Korean and explore more of its culture.", Yen Nhi shared.

Sharing her advice with students preparing to join Bridge to Keimyung Camp 2026, Khanh Vy said: "Don't worry if you think your Korean isn't good enough or if you're afraid you might struggle to adapt to a new environment. The activities throughout the program will naturally help you become more confident. Be open-minded, take the initiative to start conversations, participate enthusiastically and enjoy every moment. When the trip comes to an end, what you'll remember most won't just be the places you've visited, but also the people you've met and the invaluable experiences you've gained."

Alongside the cultural experiences, the learning environment at Keimyung University also left a lasting impression on Dong A University students. "The spacious, green campus, together with its modern classrooms, library, sports facilities and student spaces, gave us a clear picture of a dynamic international learning environment that offers abundant opportunities for student development. We were also impressed by the friendliness, courtesy and strong sense of responsibility demonstrated by Korean students in both their studies and daily lives. Their attitude has inspired us greatly in our own journey of learning Korean", Khanh Ly and Yen Nhi shared.

Dong A University and Keimyung University have established a productive partnership in developing internationally oriented educational programs. The two institutions are currently collaborating on 2+2 international degree programs in Korean Language, Korean Language Education, Tourism Management and Media Studies.

By maintaining participation in academic exchange activities, cultural exchange programs, and international experiential initiatives such as Bridge to Keimyung Camp, Dong A University continues to create valuable opportunities for students to learn, grow and integrate into the global community. These efforts further reinforce the University's commitment to the internationalization of education while steadily building a dynamic learning environment through partnerships with reputable institutions across the region and around the world.
