Lễ Tốt nghiệp đợt 2 năm 2026 Đại học Đông Á dành cho hơn 1.300 sinh viên khối ngành Kinh tế - Du lịch, Ngôn ngữ và Tâm lí - Sư phạm. Trong đó ghi nhận tỉ lệ sinh viên có việc làm trước tốt nghiệp ở một số ngành được ghi nhận ở mức cao, đạt trên 72% (như ngành Ngôn ngữ Trung, Ngôn ngữ Hàn, Logistics, Điện Tự động hóa, Xây dựng, Ô tô,…); tỉ lệ sinh viên có việc làm sau một năm tốt nghiệp đạt trên 91%. Chỉ tính riêng năm 2025, trường Đại học Đông Á có hơn 300 sinh viên đi thực tập và làm việc tại nước ngoài ở Nhật Bản, Hàn Quốc, Đài Loan (Trung Quốc), Singapore, CHLB Đức, Mỹ,…; nâng tổng số sinh viên sang nước ngoài thực tập và làm việc đến nay lên đến 1.200 em.

Tháng 5 đầy rộn ràng của các sân chơi học thuật dành cho sinh viên Đại học Đông Á. Chung kết cuộc thi Sinh viên Nghiên cứu khoa học lần 12 chứng kiến 45 đề tài của 135 sinh viên đến từ 14 khoa tham gia tranh tài ở 4 hội đồng chuyên môn. Các đề tài mang đến nhiều giải pháp sáng tạo, ứng dụng và tích hợp AI trong các lĩnh vực, có giá trị ứng dụng thực tiễn, thể hiện tư duy đổi mới, tinh thần học thuật và trách nhiệm xã hội của sinh viên Trường Đại học Đông Á.

Cùng với đó, Top 15 dự án khởi nghiệp sinh viên cũng sẵn sàng bứt tốc cho vòng chung kết UDA Startup Innovation lần VII, năm 2026 diễn ra vào tháng 6 tới với "sự tiếp sức" từ các giảng viên, chuyên gia qua các chuyên đề đầy bổ ích về “Kỹ năng Pitching”, “Lập kế hoạch tài chính”,… qua đó tiếp thêm bản lĩnh, tư duy và sự tự tin cho các đội thi trên hành trình hoàn thiện dự án trước thềm Chung kết.

Tháng 5 đầy hứa hẹn với sinh viên Y khoa Đại học Đông Á khi các chuyên gia, bác sĩ Bệnh viện TW Huế chính thức được bổ nhiệm trở thành cố vấn cấp cao, phụ trách bộ môn, phó trưởng bộ môn thuộc khoa Y, Đại học Đông Á. Sự tham gia của các chuyên gia, bác sĩ giàu kinh nghiệm từ BVTW Huế sẽ góp phần nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo, thúc đẩy nghiên cứu khoa học, chuyển giao tri thức và phát triển các lĩnh vực chuyên môn theo hướng thực tiễn, hiện đại.

Tháng 5, Đại học Đông Á đón hơn 1.500 thí sinh đến điểm thi số 77 – Đại học Đông Á, sẵn sàng chinh phục Kỳ thi Đánh giá năng lực ĐHQG-HCM (V-ACT) đợt 2 năm 2026; đón các thành viên trường Đại học Đồng Tháp đến trao đổi kinh nghiệm công tác tổ chức thi HSK- HSKK tại Đại học Đông Á, bao gồm quy trình và biểu mẫu, nhân sự và an ninh  và tham quan cơ sở vật chất phục vụ kỳ thi.

Tháng 5 đầy sắc màu giao lưu chuyên môn với sinh viên khối Ngôn ngữ Đại học Đông Á. Sinh viên Ngôn ngữ Trung Đại học Đông Á góp mặt tranh tài cùng top 12 toàn quốc tại chung kết cuộc thi “Nhịp cầu Hán ngữ” lần thứ 25.

Vòng Chung kết Cuộc thi hùng biện tiếng Anh English Master Speakers 2026 chứng kiến 8 phần thi thố ấn tượng từ thí sinh xuất sắc nhất ở chủ đề The Environment & Natural Disasters”. English Master Speakers 2026 là cuộc thi thường niên lần thứ 4 do Khoa NN&VH Anh Đại học Đông Á tổ chức, thu hút hơn 100 thí sinh là học sinh, sinh viên yêu thích tiếng Anh tham gia đến từ các trường Đại học, cao đẳng và THPT trên địa bàn miền Trung - Tây Nguyên.

Sinh viên Ngôn ngữ Nhật ĐH Đông Á với workshop "Tiếng Nhật trong tay - Vút bay sự nghiệp" cùng những chia sẻ thực tế, sâu sắc và truyền cảm hứng từ đại diện FPT Software về xu hướng việc làm và yêu cầu tuyển dụng hiện nay.

Sinh viên Ngôn ngữ Hàn với bài giảng truyền cảm hứng nhân Ngày Nhà giáo Hàn Quốc (15/5) từ GS. Kim Il Kyu – Đại học Quốc gia Kangwon - hiện đang tham gia chương trình trao đổi giảng viên và nghiên cứu 1 năm tại Trường Đại học Đông Á.

Với sinh viên khối không chuyên là sôi nổi vòng Chung kết cuộc thi Hùng biện Tiếng Anh "SPEAK UP CONTEST 2026" đầy bùng nổ với những phần tranh tài đầy tự tin, sáng tạo và cảm xúc đến từ Top 12 thí sinh xuất sắc nhất.

Tháng 5 của hoạt động giao lưu quốc tế cũng rộn ràng khi các giảng viên ĐH Đông Á tham gia trao đổi về “Kỹ năng quản lý trong giáo dục” cùng Phó Chủ tịch Missouri State University (Hoa Kỳ) về chiến lược tuyển sinh trong bối cảnh cạnh tranh toàn cầu, xây dựng thương hiệu đại học hiện đại, marketing giáo dục bền vững, cũng như các kỹ năng lãnh đạo dành cho cấp quản lý, bao gồm coaching, phát triển đội ngũ và xây dựng văn hóa tổ chức hiệu quả.

Bên cạnh đó, 10 giảng viên và sinh viên Đại học Đông Á tiếp tục tham gia khoá đào tạo “Digital Marketing and Distribution” với sự đồng hành về chuyên môn của William Angliss Institute (Australia) và được tài trợ bởi Quỹ Yes to International Students của Chính phủ bang Victoria (Australia).

Tháng 5 của hành trình trách nhiệm cộng đồng Đại học Đông Á tiếp tục đến với hơn 200 y bác sĩ, nhân viên y tế Bệnh viện C Đà Nẵng qua chuyên đề “Tâm lý học ứng dụng - Dành cho cán bộ y tế”, qua đó được trang bị thêm công cụ nhận diện, quản trị áp lực tâm lý và nâng cao sức khỏe tinh thần trong môi trường nghề nghiệp đặc thù.

May and the Beautiful Words of Gratitude from Dong A University Students

May was filled with beautiful moments and heartfelt expressions of gratitude as the Class of Academic Year 2022 students concluded their university journey.

The second Dong A University’s 2026 Graduation Ceremony celebrated the achievements of more than 1,300 students from the fields of Economics and Tourism, Languages, and Psychology and Pedagogy. Notably, employment rates before graduation exceeded 72% in several majors, including Chinese Language, Korean Language, Logistics, Automation Engineering, Construction, and Automotive Technology. The employment rate one year after graduation surpassed 91%. In 2025 alone, more than 300 Dong A University students participated in internships and employment opportunities abroad in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Germany, and the United States, bringing the total number of students who have studied, interned, and worked overseas to more than 1,200.

May was also a vibrant month for academic activities at Dong A University. The final round of the 12th Student Scientific Research Competition featured 45 research projects developed by 135 students from 14 faculties, competing before four specialized academic panels. Many projects introduced innovative solutions and integrated artificial intelligence into various fields, demonstrating practical value, creative thinking, academic excellence, and social responsibility among Dong A University students.

At the same time, the Top 15 student startup projects are preparing to accelerate toward the final round of the 7th UDA Startup Innovation Competition 2026, scheduled for June. With guidance from lecturers and experts through valuable workshops on topics such as Pitching Skills and Financial Planning, participating teams have gained greater confidence, strategic thinking, and readiness as they refine their projects for the final stage.

May also brought exciting developments for medical students at Dong A University. Experts and physicians from Hue Central Hospital were officially appointed as senior advisors, department heads, and deputy department heads within the Faculty of Medicine. Their participation is expected to enhance educational quality, promote scientific research, facilitate knowledge transfer, and strengthen the development of practical and modern medical training.

During May, Dong A University welcomed more than 1,500 candidates to Examination Site No. 77 for the second round of the 2026 Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam Assessment Competency Test (V-ACT). The university also hosted representatives from Dong Thap University, who visited to exchange experiences regarding the organization of the HSK and HSK.K examinations, including procedures, documentation systems, personnel arrangements, security measures, and testing facilities.

May was also a colorful month of academic and cultural exchange for language students. A student from the Chinese Language program represented Dong A University among the national Top 12 finalists in the 25th Chinese Bridge Competition.

The final round of English Master Speakers 2026 showcased eight outstanding presentations on the theme “The Environment and Natural Disasters.” Organized annually by the Faculty of English Language and Culture, this fourth edition attracted more than 100 students and pupils from universities, colleges, and high schools across Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands.

Japanese Language students participated in the workshop “Japanese in Your Hands – Soaring Career Opportunities,” where representatives from FPT Software shared practical insights and inspiring perspectives on current employment trends and recruitment expectations.

Korean Language students attended a special inspirational lecture in celebration of Korean Teachers’ Day on May 15, delivered by Professor Kim Il Kyu from Kangwon National University, who is currently participating in a one-year faculty and research exchange program at Dong A University.

For non-language majors, the final round of the SPEAK UP CONTEST 2026 created an energetic atmosphere, featuring confident, creative, and emotionally engaging performances from the Top 12 finalists.

International collaboration activities were equally dynamic throughout May. Dong A University lecturers participated in a professional exchange on Educational Management Skills with the Vice President of Missouri State University in the United States. Discussions focused on enrollment strategies in an increasingly competitive global environment, modern university branding, sustainable educational marketing, and leadership competencies, including coaching, team development, and organizational culture building.

In addition, ten lecturers and students from Dong A University continued participating in the “Digital Marketing and Distribution” training program, delivered with academic support from William Angliss Institute of Australia and funded by the Victorian Government’s Yes to International Students Fund.

May also marked another meaningful chapter in Dong A University’s commitment to community service. Through the seminar “Applied Psychology for Healthcare Professionals,” more than 200 doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff from Da Nang C Hospital received practical tools to identify and manage psychological stress while promoting mental well-being in their demanding professional environment.
