Tại Hội thảo trực tuyến do Tổ chức Xúc tiến Thương mại Nhật Bản (JETRO) - VPĐD tại Hà Nội tổ chức ngày 08/07, Trường Đại học Đông Á tiếp tục khẳng định uy tín khi được JETRO vinh danh là đại diện điển hình tại Việt Nam về mô hình liên kết hợp tác trường đại học – doanh nghiệp, mở ra lộ trình thực tập và làm việc cho nguồn nhân lực kỹ sư chất lượng cao tại Nhật Bản.
Với chủ đề "Chia sẻ các mô hình hợp tác với các trường đại học Việt Nam nhằm thúc đẩy phát triển và phát huy nguồn nhân lực quốc tế chất lượng cao", hội thảo đã thu hút sự tham gia của nhiều trường đại học, doanh nghiệp và tổ chức giáo dục uy tín của Việt Nam và Nhật Bản.
Tại đây, Đại học Đông Á tiếp tục được JETRO lựa chọn là đơn vị đại diện điển hình của Việt Nam hợp tác hiệu quả cùng doanh nghiệp Nhật Bản. Trong đó, chương trình hợp tác với Công ty Asai Komuten được xem là mô hình tiêu biểu, mở ra lộ trình đào tạo – thực tập – việc làm bài bản dành cho sinh viên ngành Xây dựng của nhà trường, góp phần cung ứng nguồn nhân lực kỹ sư chất lượng cao cho thị trường lao động Nhật Bản.
Được ký kết từ tháng 5/2022, “Asai – Internship và làm việc tại Nhật Bản” là chương trình thực tập nghề nghiệp đầu tiên của Khoa Xây dựng Đại học Đông Á triển khai theo mô hình hợp tác chuyên sâu với doanh nghiệp Nhật Bản. Theo đó, sinh viên sẽ có một năm học tập và làm việc tại Công ty TNHH Xây dựng Asai tại Nagoya, Nhật Bản. Trong ba tháng đầu, sinh viên tiếp tục được đào tạo tiếng Nhật đạt tối thiểu trình độ N3 cùng các tiêu chuẩn, quy trình trong lĩnh vực xây dựng của Nhật Bản trước khi trực tiếp tham gia thực tập chuyên môn tại các công trình thực tế.
Sau 4 năm triển khai, chương trình đã ghi nhận những kết quả tích cực. Đến nay, hai khóa sinh viên đã hoàn thành chương trình thực tập tại Nhật Bản, khóa thứ ba đang có kỳ thực tập nghề nghiệp tại đất nước mặt trời mọc từ cuối tháng 6/2026. Đáng chú ý, 60% sinh viên khóa đầu tiên đã quay trở lại Nhật Bản làm việc sau khi tốt nghiệp, 100% sinh viên khóa tiếp theo đều có việc làm ngay sau khi hoàn thành chương trình thực tập, khẳng định hiệu quả của mô hình đào tạo gắn với nhu cầu thực tiễn của doanh nghiệp.
Đánh giá về mô hình này, đại diện JETRO cho biết: “Sự hợp tác giữa Đại học Đông Á và Công ty Asai Komuten là một trong những ví dụ điển hình về liên kết hiệu quả giữa nhà trường và doanh nghiệp. Điểm nổi bật của mô hình là việc sinh viên ngành Xây dựng học tiếng Nhật và đạt trình độ N3 sẽ được doanh nghiệp cấp học bổng, đồng thời ưu tiên tham gia phỏng vấn, thực tập và tuyển dụng chính thức.
Việc doanh nghiệp đồng hành cùng nhà trường thông qua các chương trình học bổng, tuyển dụng ngay từ khi sinh viên còn trên ghế giảng đường, đặc biệt tại Ngày hội việc làm Nhật Bản do Đại học Đông Á tổ chức thường niên, không chỉ giúp doanh nghiệp chủ động tiếp cận nguồn nhân lực tiềm năng mà còn tạo động lực để sinh viên nâng cao năng lực ngoại ngữ, chuyên môn và định hướng nghề nghiệp quốc tế ngay từ sớm. Đây là mô hình hợp tác mang lại lợi ích thiết thực cho cả ba bên: nhà trường, doanh nghiệp và người học.”
Về phía Đại học Đông Á, mô hình hợp tác với Asai Komuten không chỉ đem đến cho sinh viên nhà trường nhiều cơ hội học bổng, thực tập và việc làm mà còn giúp nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo theo nhu cầu thực tế của doanh nghiệp. Thông qua quá trình hợp tác, doanh nghiệp tham gia sâu hơn vào việc xây dựng và cập nhật chương trình đào tạo, giúp nhà trường nhanh chóng nắm bắt những yêu cầu mới của thị trường lao động Nhật Bản và chuẩn bị cho sinh viên đầy đủ năng lực chuyên môn, ngoại ngữ cũng như kỹ năng nghề nghiệp trước khi bước vào môi trường làm việc quốc tế.
Được biết, Đại học Đông Á triển khai mô hình hợp tác cùng Asai Komuten xuất phát từ nhu cầu tuyển dụng thực tế của doanh nghiệp Nhật Bản và mong muốn xây dựng một lộ trình xuyên suốt từ học tập, thực tập đến việc làm cho sinh viên nhà trường. Thành công của mô hình là cơ sở để Đại học Đông Á tiếp tục mở rộng cách tiếp cận này sang nhiều lĩnh vực khác như Công nghệ thông tin, Ô tô, Điện - Điện tử, Điều dưỡng và Du lịch, góp phần hình thành hệ sinh thái đào tạo nguồn nhân lực quốc tế chất lượng cao.
Cũng tại webinar lần này, trong phiên báo cáo của Công ty TOA, phía doanh nghiệp cũng đã chia sẻ kinh nghiệm triển khai chiến lược tuyển dụng nguồn nhân lực Việt Nam thông qua hợp tác trực tiếp với các trường đại học, trong đó có Đại học Đông Á. Trong quá trình triển khai, Đại học Đông Á ký kết hợp tác với Tập đoàn TOA Nhật Bản trong việc tuyển dụng sinh viên ngành CNKT Ô tô vào tháng 12/2024. Phía công ty cũng đã hỗ trợ đào tạo tiếng Nhật, tổ chức phỏng vấn, thực tập và tuyển dụng đối với sinh viên Đại học Đông Á.
Hành trình hợp tác với Nhật Bản của Đại học Đông Á đã trải qua hơn 10 năm. Từ các thỏa thuận đầu tiên với các tập đoàn khách sạn Nhật Bản năm 2015 đến các chương trình thực tập nghề nghiệp quốc tế đầu tiên được xúc tiến từ 2017, mạng lưới đối tác của nhà trường không ngừng mở rộng cả về quy mô lẫn chiều sâu. Đến nay, Đại học Đông Á đã thiết lập quan hệ hợp tác với 225 doanh nghiệp, 9 tỉnh, thành phố và 13 trường đại học, viện nghiên cứu của Nhật Bản, mang đến cho gần 1.300 sinh viên cơ hội học tập, trao đổi, thực tập và làm việc tại nền kinh tế lớn thứ tư thế giới.
Tại hội thảo trực tuyến công bố kết quả “Khảo sát tiềm năng hợp tác giữa các trường đại học Việt Nam và doanh nghiệp Nhật Bản” diễn ra vào năm 2021, mô hình hợp tác Đại học Đông Á – Tập đoàn y tế Aijinkai, Nhật Bản cũng đã được JETRO bình chọn là điển hình tiêu biểu tại Việt Nam trong liên kết hợp tác với doanh nghiệp Nhật.
Với định hướng lấy người học làm trung tâm, đào tạo gắn với nhu cầu thực tiễn của doanh nghiệp và thị trường lao động toàn cầu, Đại học Đông Á đang tiếp tục mở rộng mạng lưới hợp tác quốc tế, đa dạng hóa các chương trình học bổng, thực tập và việc làm ở nước ngoài, góp phần đào tạo thế hệ nguồn nhân lực chất lượng cao, hội nhập và sẵn sàng chinh phục những cơ hội nghề nghiệp trên thị trường quốc tế.

Dong A University Continues to Be Recognized as a Model of Effective Collaboration with Japanese Enterprises
At the online seminar organized by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Hanoi Office on July 8, Dong A University once again reaffirmed its reputation after being recognized by JETRO as a leading example in Vietnam of successful university–industry collaboration, creating structured internship and employment pathways for high-quality engineering talent in Japan.
Under the theme "Sharing Models of Collaboration with Vietnamese Universities to Promote the Development and Utilization of High-Quality International Human Resources," the seminar brought together representatives from leading universities, businesses and educational organizations in both Vietnam and Japan.
At the event, Dong A University was once again selected by JETRO as a representative example of a Vietnamese university with outstanding partnerships with Japanese enterprises. Among these, its collaboration with Asai Komuten was highlighted as a model partnership, establishing a comprehensive education–internship–employment pathway for Construction Engineering students while contributing to the supply of highly qualified engineering professionals for the Japanese labor market.
Launched in May 2022, the "Asai – Internship and Employment in Japan" program was the first professional internship initiative implemented by the Faculty of Construction at Dong A University through an in-depth partnership with a Japanese company. Under the program, students spend one year studying and working at Asai Construction in Nagoya, Japan. During the first three months, students continue their Japanese language training to achieve at least JLPT N3 proficiency while studying Japanese construction standards and procedures before undertaking professional internships on actual construction projects.
After four years of implementation, the program has produced encouraging results. To date, two cohorts of students have successfully completed their internships in Japan, while the third cohort began its professional internship in Japan in late June 2026. Notably, 60% of students from the first cohort returned to Japan for full-time employment after graduation and 100% of students in the following cohort secured employment immediately after completing their internships, demonstrating the effectiveness of a training model closely aligned with industry needs.
Commenting on the program, a JETRO representative stated: "The partnership between Dong A University and Asai Komuten is one of the most outstanding examples of effective collaboration between universities and businesses. A distinctive feature of this model is that Construction Engineering students who achieve JLPT N3 proficiency are eligible for company-sponsored scholarships while also receiving priority for interviews, internships and full-time employment.
The company's close collaboration with the university through scholarship programs and recruitment initiatives while students are still studying—particularly at the Japan Job Fair hosted annually by Dong A University—not only enables employers to proactively identify promising talent but also motivates students to strengthen their language proficiency, professional knowledge and international career orientation from an early stage. This is a collaborative model that delivers tangible benefits to all three stakeholders: the university, businesses and students."
For Dong A University, the partnership with Asai Komuten has not only created valuable scholarship, internship and employment opportunities for students but has also enhanced the quality of its academic programs in line with industry requirements. Through this collaboration, the company actively participates in developing and updating the curriculum, enabling the university to respond quickly to the evolving demands of the Japanese labor market and equip students with the professional expertise, language proficiency, and practical skills required to succeed in an international working environment.
The partnership between Dong A University and Asai Komuten was established in response to the company's actual recruitment needs and the shared goal of creating a seamless pathway from education to internship and employment for students. The success of this model has provided a strong foundation for the university to expand the same approach to other disciplines, including Information Technology, Automotive Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nursing and Tourism, thereby contributing to the development of a comprehensive ecosystem for training globally competitive professionals.
At the same webinar, during the presentation by TOA Corporation, company representatives also shared their experience in implementing a strategy to recruit Vietnamese talent through direct collaboration with universities, including Dong A University. As part of this partnership, Dong A University signed an agreement with Japan's TOA Group in December 2024 to recruit students from its Automotive Engineering Technology program. The company has since supported Japanese language training while organizing interviews, internships and recruitment activities for Dong A University students.
Dong A University's partnership with Japan has developed over more than a decade. From its first agreements with Japanese hotel groups in 2015 to the launch of its first international internship programs in 2017, the university's network of Japanese partners has continued to grow in both scale and depth. To date, Dong A University has established partnerships with 225 enterprises, nine prefectures and municipalities and 13 universities and research institutes in Japan, providing nearly 1,300 students with opportunities to study, participate in exchange programs, undertake internships, and work in the world's fourth-largest economy.
At the online seminar announcing the results of the "Survey on the Potential for Collaboration between Vietnamese Universities and Japanese Enterprises" held in 2021, the partnership model between Dong A University and Japan's Aijinkai Medical Group was also recognized by JETRO as one of Vietnam's most exemplary university–enterprise collaboration models.
With a student-centered approach and a commitment to aligning education with the practical needs of businesses and the global labor market, Dong A University continues to expand its international partnerships while diversifying scholarship, internship and overseas employment opportunities.
