Dong A students are now offered paid-internship and work in Japan

(Tổ Quốc) - Kameda Medical Center (Japan) officially agreed to accept UDA nursing students to have paid-internship for a year at medical centers in Japan.

On August 15th, Kameda Medical Center (Japan) officially started offering UDA nursing students for internship with allowances for a year at medical centers in Japan, increasing the total number of Japanese partners operating in nursing and health care to 12 corporations and 220 workplaces.

In Aprils, fourth-year UDA students who have achieved N4 in Japanese will go to Japan for paid-internship and to improve Japanese in a year. After completing the internship, they will go back to UDA to complete their bachelor, then they can continue to work in Japan for another 5 years with a salary of $ 1,700 / month if they want to.

"It is not only an effort to find job opportunities for UDA students but it also aims to prepare the qualified labor resources that are well trained in advanced methods and techniques in Japan to contribute to developments of the healthcare industry in Vietnam", said Mr. Luong Minh Sam - UDA Vice Rector.

Besides the business cooperation, the Yokohama municipal government – an affiliated unit of Da Nang city officially accepted UDA nursing students for 9 months internship and work at 99 healthcare centers at Yokohama.

Takahashi City would also like to offer a cut-off up to 80% in tuition fees and provide monthly living allowance for all UDA nursing students, also help them to look for part-time jobs to facilitate their study in Japan.

In Hokkaido, Japan, a signing ceremony was held between UDA and the Kouseikai Social Welfare Foundation (Japan) to provide third-year nursing students paid-internship opportunities working as trainees at 40 healthcare centers in Japan.

A comprehensive cooperation agreement between WBS Training Group (Germany) and UDA has also successfully been signed. Accordingly, 200 nursing students might go to Germany for internship and work every year since 2018 with the vision to providing the same programs in Tourism, Hospitality, Restaurant, IT, Engineering Technology and Electrical Engineering Technology to guarantee the qualified labor resources for Vietnam and German working markets. Students are also trained German to reach Level B2 so that they can work at companies and medical centers in Germany.

With the international cooperation strategy, UDA has signed 72 cooperation agreements with prestigious partners to bring more than 3,000 jobs to UDA students in both local and international enterprises every year.
