UDA nursing students (Danang) are doing paid internship in Japan

(Tổ Quốc) - Kouseikai Organization (Japan) officially accepted third year UDA students to do paid internship in Japan as trainees in medical centers, established and operated by Kouseikai.

On April 27th, the signing ceremony for paid internship program in Japan between UDA University (Danang) and Kouseikai Social Welfare Foundation was held in Hokkaido, Japan.

This is also the content of the seminar "Vietnamese and Japanese Nurses in the Future" – Efforts in Training Program for Nurses at UDA co-organized by Nanakamado Institute of Nursing and UDA. More than 80 health centers at Hokkaido and representative of the Vietnam Embassy in Japan were attended.

According to the agreement, Kouseikai Organization (Japan) officially accepted third year UDA students to do paid internship in Japan as trainees in medical centers, established and operated by Kouseikai.

Signed between UDA and Kouseikai Welfare Society Foundation(Japan).

The duration for internship is 3 months. The number of students will be increased from 20 to 60 students every year. There also are supports for living expense, health care and training at medical centers in Japan.

Accordingly, the qualified UDA nursing students who have N3 Japanese level and finish the training course will be accepted into the internship under this program.

Students will also receive a full scholarship of 330,000 Japanese yen ($ 3,000) including living expenses in Japan and supports (air tickets, visa cost, etc.) from Kodyikai to do internship in Japan.

This 3 month internship in Japan is equivalent to 4 credits of internship from the curriculum Faculty of Nursing, UDA. During the internship, students must submit reports when they participate into practical section.

At the same time, the Kouseikai medical centers will conduct regular evaluation and connection programs with UDA based on the student attitudes and internship result to ensure they can access to equipment, advanced health care technologies and practice professional skills in nursing.

After completing the internship in Japan and graduated at UDA, students who get good internship results will be accepted to work in Japan, and will be supported to get practice certificate for long term working in Japan. Others will be able to easily find a job with high income or join the international markets in developed countries including Germany and USA.

Hoang Oanh and Nguyen Thuy, two UDA graduated students of the 13th batch are studying and working at Hirayama Medical Center, Hokkaido also attended and witnessed the signing ceremony. They have been received good evaluations from Japanese medical center. This is a good example for many medical centers to receive UDA students for internship and long term working in Japan.

With this cooperation, UDA is also expanding the job market and internship opportunities for nursing students at developed countries such as Japan and German with more benefits for nursing students by many important contracts with Leonardis Group, WBS AG, Azurit (Germany), and LEOC Group (Japan),...
