Director of the Tanaka Health Department - Yokohama City, Japan, has received 20 UDA nursing students

(infonet.vn) - On August 1st, UDA (Da Nang) signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Yokohama City (Japan) on internship and job opportunities for UDA nursing students in Japan.

Accordingly, Yokohama city - affiliated unit of Danang officially accepted 9 months internship and offered job opportunities for UDA nursing students at 99 healthcare centers of the Social Welfare Foundation of Yokohama City.

Yokohama city accepts 50 UDA students under this program from 2019 onwards per year. Prior to that, the Yokohama municipal government also issued an official letter to receive the first 20 UDA nursing students to work in Japan since 2018.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Hiroaki Tanaka, Director of Health and Social Welfare of Yokohama City said that this is the first time the city government has signed a strategic partnership with a non-public university in Vietnam. After survey programs at universities in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hue, and Da Nang Yokohama City has organized and directly managed accepting nursing students to work with accommodation and living supports for them.

On the same day, a comprehensive cooperation agreement between WBS Training Group (Germany) and UDA was successfully signed. Accordingly, 200 nursing students will go to Germany for internship and work every year since 2018 and the corporation cooperation will be expanded in Tourism, Hospitality, Restaurant, IT, Engineering Technology and Electrical Engineering Technology to guarantee the qualified labor resources for Vietnam and German working markets. Students are also trained in German to reach Level B2 so that they can work at companies and medical centers in Germany.

According to UDA, 46 students of Nursing, Information Technology, Business Administration and Tourism faculties have been accepted for internship with salary at 7-Eleven, Route Inn , ITS, Global Design IT (Japan), and Empire Inc Holdings (Singapore), brought the total number of students at internal companies to 186 students in 2018.

Since 2015, UDA has boldly expanded the job seeking in the internal markets including Japan, Germany and Singapore, and multinational corporations. There are up to 3,038 job opportunities for UDA students each year from leading corporations in Japan such as 7-Eleven, Zensho, Route-Inn, LEOC, Japan Material Engineering Services, Japan Building Maintenance Association (JBMA), Asean Car Business Career-Japan and nursing institutes such as Kouseikai, Nanakamado, Aoyama, Kibi International University, JBMA, Empire Inc Holdings (Singapore), Leonardis Group, WBS AG, and Azurit (Germany).
